Embrace Gentleness and Self-Care
gentlehabitspace was born from years of contemplating how to live a life filled with gentleness—towards myself, towards others, even amidst the demands of daily life.
Our mission is to build mental and emotional strength through modes of gentleness, through the sound of music, meditative sound journey, sound healing tools and building a community around it.
In our busy lives in Singapore city, it's easy to neglect our well-being and forget to celebrate ourselves. We rarely pause to listen to our physical and emotional needs, or to practice kindness towards ourselves. By filling our physical and emotional health jars, we replenish the energy to support ourselves, our families, and our communities, both inwardly and outwardly.
I invite you to cultivate gentle habits and connect with your inner essence. Join me on a restful and therapeutic journey with music and sound to find the rhythm that inspires a happy and grounded life. Living a quality life. As we align our breath with the rhythm, our hearts open gently, and harmony dances softly through us. In this space, we connect with ourselves, let love grow inward, and allow this love to flow outward, embracing the world around us.
Hello:) I am Carrie
My relationship with sound therapy began many years ago when I first experienced it as a recipient. The deep sense of relaxation, spaciousness, and quiet clarity it brought stayed with me long after each session.
After nearly two decades in the corporate world, I took a career break and began exploring sound therapy more intentionally — initially as a personal practice to support my own well-being. What started as something I offered to myself gradually expanded to sharing sessions with close friends and family, and over time, it naturally grew into the work I do today.
I completed my Sound Healer Diploma Training with Harmonics Sound, accredited by The International Association of Sound Therapy, where I deepened my understanding of therapeutic sound and how different instruments can be used to support relaxation and nervous system regulation in both private and group settings.
My approach is intuitive and practitioner-led, with the intention of creating a calm and supportive space where people can slow down, soften, and reconnect with themselves. Many people come to sound sessions carrying mental fatigue, emotional stress, or simply the busyness of daily life. Sound can offer a rare opportunity to pause and allow the body to rest deeply.
Sound therapy also feels like a natural extension of my long-standing meditation practice, as well as my training in Foundational Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT) from Emory University, which continues to shape the way I hold space with presence and care.
Today, I offer private sound journeys, small group sessions, and collaborative wellness experiences — each one held with the intention of supporting deep rest, inner calm, and a gentle return to oneself.
