Deep Rest Through Sound Therapy in Singapore

A dedicated space for restorative soundbath sessions. Using Himalayan Singing Bowls and Gongs to help settle the mind, heart and physical nervous system.

The Relationship Between Sound and Wellbeing

Our bodies are not static; they are constantly responding to the environment around us. In a city like Singapore, our nervous systems often remain in a state of "high alert."

Sound therapy acts as a bridge to balance. When we introduce the harmonic frequencies of handcrafted Himalayan bowls, your body naturally begins to mirror these slower, steadier rhythms. This is a process of nervous system regulation—shifting from a state of stress into one of alignment and recovery.

Through intentional space holding and qualified, dedicated support, sound becomes a powerful modality to:

  • Regulate the Nervous System: Moving the body out of "fight or flight" and into a state of restorative rest.

  • Release Physical Bracing: Helping the body let go of stored tension and mental "noise."

  • Support Deep Sleep: Calming the mind to allow for natural, uninterrupted sleep cycles.

Research Insight: Studies have shown that the specific overtones produced by Himalayan Singing Bowls can significantly reduce anxiety and improve sleep quality.

Clients’ Reviews

  • Carrie has a lovely, calm and gentle energy that she brings into the sound bath session. I felt very comfortable before the session and eased into it. As the session progressed, I became more relaxed with longer, slower breaths taken. With my eyes shut throughout, my senses were focused on Carrie's sounds and I could hear them all around me. I experienced vibrations down my back which amplified the therapeutic effect. Towards the end, I was gently roused out of the session, with a strong inclination to go to sleep. Highly recommended especially to those with sleeping issues.

  • I had 2 sound bath sessions with Carrie. In my first session, I could feel my whole body relaxing. It feels as though my body is no longer touching the floor. I felt very relaxed and recharged after the session. Then in my second session, I experienced vibrations down my back. It’s like having a massage. I also felt recharged after the session. In the 2nd session, Carrie used more types of instruments. I appreciate the effort she put in to choreograph the sound bath session using different instruments to achieve different results. Looking forward to more sound bath sessions with Carrie!

  • It was my first time participating in a sound bath session. Carrie was friendly, professional, and pleasant, explaining everything there is to know about sound baths, especially to a first-timer like me. As the session continued, I felt more relaxed and even dozed off! Highly recommended to try out a sound bath session with Carrie if you want to let go and relax.

Hello you:)

Gentle Habit Space was created as a quiet inner space to cultivate easy gentle habits that we can lean on, to breathe into, when life seems a tab too busy, too hurried, too overwhelming.

I’m Carrie Choong, a sound healing practitioner and yoga instructor offering calming sound journeys designed to support deep relaxation and nervous system restoration.

I hold a Diploma in Sound Healing from Harmonic Sounds, accredited by The International Association of Sound Therapy.

My sessions are intentionally gentle and unhurried, using soothing tonal qualities, instruments like himalayan singing bowls, paiste gong, ocean drums and other therapeutic instruments, to create a safe and welcoming experience — especially for those who may be new to sound therapy.

Many people come simply feeling mentally tired or overwhelmed, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more rested.
