Soundbath + Color Analysis Workshop

Welcome!

Date: 6 January 2026 / 11:00am-2pm

Venue: Singapore Polytechnic – School of Business / T18B206

Gentle arrival note: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in, choose a comfortable spot, and ease into the space. This helps the workshop to begin calmly and on time.

This 3hr workshop is an invitation to slow down, soften your nervous system, and gently reconnect with yourself — before exploring colour, beauty, and self-expression in a way that feels supportive rather than performative.

This experience has been intentionally designed as two complementary parts:

  • First, we settle the body and mind through a 60-minute sound bath

  • Then, we move into a 2-hour colour analysis makeup workshop, grounded, present, and more receptive

Session Flow

  • 11:00 – 12:00 · Sound Bath (Deep Rest & Nervous System Reset)

  • 12:00 – 12:10 · Short break / gentle transition

  • 12:10 – 2:00 · Colour Analysis Makeup Workshop

Part 1: 60-Minute Sound Bath

The sound bath is a space for rest, regulation, and deep listening.

Through the use of Himalayan singing bowls and therapeutic sound, you’ll be guided into a state of relaxation where:

  • The nervous system can downshift

  • Mental chatter begins to quiet

  • The body feels more supported and at ease

There’s nothing you need to do here — simply lie down, get comfortable, and allow the sounds to meet you where you are.

A gentle reminder:

  • You may drift, feel emotional, or feel very still — all experiences are welcome

  • If at any point you need to adjust your posture, do so slowly and mindfully

This grounding will support you in receiving the second part of the workshop with more clarity and openness.

Part 2: 2-Hour Colour Analysis Makeup Workshop

After resting the nervous system, we move into colour — not as a trend or rulebook, but as a tool for self-awareness and self-support.

In this session, you’ll explore:

  • Your personal colour tones and how they interact with your natural features

  • How makeup can enhance rather than mask

  • Simple, practical ways to choose colours that feel aligned and confidence-building

This is not about perfection or transformation.

It’s about learning to see yourself more clearly — and choosing colours that help you feel at home in your own skin.

How to Prepare

To help you get the most out of workshop:

  • Wear comfortable clothing you can lie down in

  • Bring an open, curious mindset

  • Bring along your water, stay hydrated before and after the session

If you’ve brought personal makeup items, feel free to have them nearby for the workshop portion.

A Closing Note

As students, you’re often moving quickly — between classes, deadlines, expectations, and future plans. Today is a pause in the middle of all that motion.

This session isn’t about doing more or becoming someone else. It’s about learning how to rest well, and then express yourself with more clarity and confidence.

This experience sits at the intersection of rest and expression.

By beginning with sound, we soften the inner noise. By moving into colour, we gently explore how we wish to show up in the world.

See you very soon!

How Sound Therapy Can Help

Sound Healing is an effective practice that uses sound and vibrations to reduce stress and promote relaxation. Sound has the power to engage both sides of the brain, boosting creativity and inspiration while also activating the hippocampus, a key region for memory. On a physical level, it promotes deep relaxation, with sound waves easily traveling through the body, which, being largely made up of water, naturally conducts sound efficiently.

Incorporating Sound Healing in your routine can:

  • Reduce Stress and Anxiety: Studies have shown that sound healing can significantly lower stress levels. And stress is one of the leading causes of burnt-out, which can increase absenteeism, anxiety, and decreased job satisfaction. Find out more from psychologytoday.com

  • Improve Mental Clarity: Participants often report enhanced focus and mental clarity after sessions improving cognitive ability

  • Stress Reduction: Calms the mind and helps regulate stress responses

  • Emotional Balance: Soothes anxiety, improves mood, and fosters resilience

  • Improved Sleep: Encourages better rest, reducing burnout risk

  • Team Bonding: Creates shared experiences of mindfulness and calm
