Many people arrive here simply feeling tired.
Life can move quickly — work, responsibilities, conversations, decisions — and the mind keeps going even when the body is trying to rest.
Sometimes sleep feels lighter than before. Quiet moments feel harder to find. Rest seems elusive.
Often, what people are really longing for is simply a space where nothing is expected of them.
A sound journey offers that gentle pause — a place where the body can soften and the mind can slowly settle, very intentionally, and effortlessly.
A quiet space for deep rest
Each private sound journey takes place in our calm home studio, designed as a space where you can simply arrive and settle.
There is nothing you need to prepare or perform during the session.
Most people simply lie down comfortably while being guided into a relaxed state. The sounds of Himalayan singing bowls and other gentle instruments are then played around the space, creating a calming soundscape for the body and mind to settle.
There is nothing you need to do.
Some people enter a deep meditative state.
Others simply rest quietly.
It is also very common for people to drift into sleep.
The body often takes the rest it has been needing for a long time.

After one sound journey, a guest sat up and shared something that made me smile.
She said that whenever she goes for a spa massage, the therapist is always reminding her to relax the tension in her body — yet somehow she finds herself resisting. She also always knew to have tense shoulders.
During the sound journey though, she noticed tension releasing, body softening, and slowly drifting into sleep. This time, her body and the overthinking mind couldn’t resist to relax.
By the end of the session, her shoulders felt softer and body deeply rested.
The next day, she sent a message to share that she had one of the best dreamless sleeps he’d had in a long while.
Sometimes, when the body finally feels safe enough, it simply relaxes and follows the sound.

Carrie has a lovely, calm and gentle energy that she brings into the sound bath session. I felt very comfortable before the session and eased into it. As the session progressed, I became more relaxed with longer, slower breaths taken. With my eyes shut throughout, my senses were focused on Carrie's sounds and I could hear them all around me. I experienced vibrations down my back which amplified the therapeutic effect. Towards the end, I was gently roused out of the session, with a strong inclination to go to sleep. Highly recommended especially to those with sleeping issues.

I had 2 sound bath sessions with Carrie. In my first session, I could feel my whole body relaxing. It feels as though my body is no longer touching the floor. I felt very relaxed and recharged after the session. Then in my second session, I experienced vibrations down my back. It’s like having a massage. I also felt recharged after the session. In the 2nd session, Carrie used more types of instruments. I appreciate the effort she put in to choreograph the sound bath session using different instruments to achieve different results. Meet Carrie
Gentle Habit Space was created as a quiet space to create easy gentle habits that we can lean on, to breathe into, when life seems a tab too busy, too hurried, too overwhelming.
I’m Carrie Choong, a sound healing practitioner and yoga instructor offering calming sound journeys designed to support deep relaxation and nervous system restoration.
I hold a Diploma in Sound Healing from Harmonic Sounds, accredited by The International Association of Sound Therapy.
My sessions are intentionally gentle and unhurried, using soothing tonal qualities, instruments like himalayan singing bowls, paiste gong, ocean drums and other therapeutic instruments, to create a safe and welcoming experience — especially for those who may be new to sound therapy.
Many people come simply feeling mentally tired or overwhelmed, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more rested.
